There is an exciting meeting being held by the Minipigs Research Forum later this month, and those interested in safety pharmacology, drug discovery, and preclinical research applications involving minipigs should check it out!

The Minipigs Research Forum (MRF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating the exchange of unbiased knowledge between everyone working with minipigs for research. The 12th annual MRF meeting is being held this year in Barcelona from May 16-18 and will have a focus on analytical methods & biomarkers, imaging & devices, species selection, and disease models.

The MRF is supported by Ellegaard Göttingen Minipigs, who have contributed to the development of drugs for cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, gastrointestinal diseases, arthritis, Parkinson’s disease and asthma.

Registration for the MRF meeting ends on May 9, but if you can’t make it out to Barcelona, you can always follow the Minipigs Research Forum on LinkedIn, or sign up to be a member online. Click here for more information.
