Biography

Jennifer Petrosino is a Ph.D. candidate in the Biomedical Sciences program at Ohio State, a National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases F31 Fellow, and a member of the Accornero Lab. Her work focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms regulating how muscles grow and repair and how fat accumulates and remodels. Prior to that she received an M.S. in Kinesiology from Ohio State, where she worked on developing translational exercise tests in mice, using indirect calorimetry treadmills, to assess their cardiometabolic phenotypes. Her B.S. is in exercise science from the University of Miami (FL), where she worked with the University’s strength and conditioning department. She is originally from Los Angeles, California.
