Rebeccah is a Training Coordinator at Emory University’s Division of Animal Resources. Her focus is in veterinary training and surgery, and her research interests lie in animal ethics and their intersection with the continued minimization of pain and distress as related to training and education. She attained her MA in Bioethics from Emory University and BS in Biology from Kennesaw State University, is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and Registered Laboratory Animal Technologist, and is currently working towards Surgical Research Specialist certification and veterinary specialty certification in lab animal medicine. Rebeccah is also an active member of national and regional AALAS, LAWTE, SLAVT, and NAVTA.
