He has over 30 years of experience with spectroscopy and is an recognized expert in analyzing and detecting molecules like glucose and protein. Currently, Prof. Dr. Mäntele is the chief scientific officer in DiaMonTech, a medical device company based on the concept of “photothermal detection”, which Prof. Dr. Mäntele and his team developed.
