Behavioral Instruments was founded in 2008 by Dr. Jesse Brodkin.  Dr. Brodkin has 22 years of experience in behavioral pharmacology including working as a senior research scientist in the pharmaceutical industry for such leading companies as Eli Lilly, Merck, and Sanofi-Aventis.  The company was created to capitalize on Dr. Brodkin’s research in the field of behavioral identification and to bring the fruits of that research to bear on the vexing problems of low throughput and subjective data in behavioral research.  The technology represented by the Behavioral Spectrometer represents the culmination of years of research and offers significant potential to revolutionize the field.  Behavioral Instruments is committed to enhancing neuroscience research by providing unique solutions for automating behavioral analysis.  The video-enabled version of the Behavioral Spectrometer was developed in collaboration with BiObserve GmbH.  Please visit their website for a full explanation of the other capabilities of the user interface that comes with the Behavioral Spectrometer
