The hope is that through increased awareness we will be able to break down stereotypes, balance the gender bias, and as a result women and girls will be able to recognize their potential to thrive in the scientific community.

She shares data collected using DSI’s F40-EET telemetry implant while concurrently measuring sleep, physical activity, feeding and energy expenditure using a Promethion Metabolic system, and shows how to calculate energy efficiency for non-REM and REM sleep stages, as well as individual components of total energy expenditure.
