Beth Lesher is a Senior Director in Strategic Market Access, at OPEN Health. She has more than 20 years of medical writing experience, with a focus on value communications.

She served on pharmacy school faculties and as a preceptor for pharmacy school students. Beth has more than 15 years of medical writing experience developing various types of global and AMCP dossiers, literature reviews, monographs, strategy documents, protocols, analysis plans, manuscripts, and slide decks for a variety of therapeutic areas. Therapeutic areas covered include the following: allergy/immunology; cardiology; endocrinology; gastroenterology; bacterial, fungal, and viral infectious diseases; neurology; nutrition; oncology (e.g., breast, prostate, bladder cancers); ophthalmology; orphan diseases; surgery; and urology.

Beth earned her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina School of Pharmacy where she also completed a critical care pharmacotherapy residency through the Medical University of South Carolina Teaching Hospitals. Additionally, Beth completed a medical writing fellowship through Hamilton House Medical & Scientific Communications. Beth is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist and a member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research, and the American Medical Writers Association.
