Kristiina Aasa completed her M.Sc. in Anatomy and Ph.D. in Biomedical and Molecular Sciences, both at Queen’s University. Kristiina relied heavily on high-frequency ultrasound to complete her doctoral thesis, focused on the cardiovascular effects of pregnancy complications in rodent models. Her other academic interests revolve around anatomy, cardiac electrophysiology, and teaching and learning for higher education. Kristiina began with FUJIFILM VisualSonics 8 years ago as an Applications Scientist and is now the Product Marketing Manager.
