Biography

Marija Zivkovic-Gojovic has been working as a mathematical modeler for over 10 years, in both Public and Private Healthcare sectors. She has an extensive experience in developing a wide variety of mathematical models used to support the entire life cycle of drug development process. Marija has applied her work in different therapeutic areas, like infectious disease, diabetes, cardio-vascular disease, and oncology.

Marija is experienced in using various types of dynamic modeling algorithms, with expertise in agent-base modeling. She had worked on modeling various disease dynamics like influenza, pertussis, HPV, HIV, HepB, HepC, and COVID-19. She also has extensive experience in health-economic modeling with an emphasis on health-economic evaluation of vaccine applications. Marija’s technical experience include hands on knowledge in Excel/VBA, C/C++/C#, and R-studio.

Prior to joining ICON, Marija had worked as a Consultant (model development) at Scarsin corporation, where she was responsible for design and development of different business solutions for major Pharmaceutical companies. She also had worked as an independent Consultant for Public Health Ontario, Dalla Lana School of Public Health, and University Health Network.
