Dr. Kofoed is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Alphalyse and has been responsible for the general management of Alphalyse since its inception in 2002. He has more than 25 years of experience in the Biotech industry, and his previous posts include Head of Proteomics at ACE BioSciences, Associated Professor at Copenhagen University, and Senior Scientist at PNA Diagnostics. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Southern Denmark and a degree in Business Administration.
