Jeffrey Thompson’s role includes managing design, analysis, and interpretation of real-world evidence-based studies, particularly those involving secondary retrospective data sources (claims, Electronic Health Records (EHR)). Prior to joining Cerner Enviza, Dr. Thompson worked for CVS Health in Woonsocket, RI. He was responsible for performing start-to-finish analyses on a variety of therapeutic classes to support multiple internal business units, including government affairs, specialty pharmacy, and pharmacy benefit management. His experience brings an understanding of how to identify and quantify medication use, treatment patterns, and patient outcomes using appropriate programming (SQL & SAS) on large-scale sets of claims data.

Dr. Jeffrey Thompson received a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Health Outcomes) and a MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Drug Development) from the University of Cincinnati, College of Pharmacy, and a ScB in Neuroscience from Brown University.
