Joanna performed her PhD and Post-Doc studies at the Max-Planck-Institute for Neurological Research in Cologne where she was studying regeneration after cerebral ischemia. In 2015 she joined JOANNEUM RESEARCH HEALTH, and since then she has been working with Open Flow Microperfusion (OFM), providing services in the field of in vivo pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. Joanna has 14 years of experience in neuroscience, and she currently holds the position of the Deputy Head of the research group Biomedical Tissue Monitoring at Joanneum Research HEALTH.
