Sven has a Diploma in Biology from the University of Tübingen, with a focus on molecular biology and pharmacology and received his Ph.D. in Pharmacology at the same university in cooperation with the Natural and Medical Science Institute. There, he focused on non-invasive extracellular recordings of electrical activity.  In 2015, he joined Harvard Bioscience in its Multi-Channel Systems division (MCS). Sven has had several roles in the organization, including being a Sr. Application Scientist, the Application Team Leader for Cellular and Molecular Technologies in EIMEA, and is now the global Product Manager for Multielectrode Arrays (MEA).
